Top 9 of 2009

Here are my Top 9 of 2009
(In chronological order-not order of importance)

1. The Twins 3rd Birthday at Great Wolf Lodge
We all had an amazing time our first trip to GWL and what better time to go than to celebrate our little guys turning 3!

2. April trip home to Northern NY
So the weather was awful and the kids got sick but it was great to see all of our family and get to spend some quality time with them.

3. Our Busch Gardens/ Water Country USA season passes
We lived at both of these parks through out spring and summer and into fall. These combo season passes were our best "pass" purchase this year-we got tons of use out of them, had wonderful day trips to both parks and made so many memories!

4. Play dates, Play dates, Play dates!
From crafts and play time in the park to luau's and gingerbread houses we had a wonderful year with all of our playgroups friends and made some really great news pals as well!

5. The twins first day of preschool
It was bittersweet for Mommy having my little dynamic duo leaving me (especially when both of them were so excited I couldn't even get a hug or kiss goodbye!) but it is amazing to see how much they have grown and learned!

6. Soccer Mom
It was comical and at times pathetic (our poor team went from 7 to 3 players two of which were my boys!) but I had a great first season as a soccer mom proudly cheering on my boys on the field!

7. Mike's 29th Birthday
He was such a good sport! The boys went all out decorating for him and making him a cake. They even bought him a special party hat that he even got photographed wearing! He also allowed them to drag him to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate because honestly in there eyes how else can you possibly celebrate your special day!?!

8. Celebrating the BIG 2-8
My birthday was just as fun. I got to spend the day with my favorite three guys-we went ice skating at MacArthur Center, went out to dinner and then drove the Christmas lights at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens.

9. Christmas
This Christmas was by far my favorite. The boys are at an age where they truly make the holiday magical and exciting for me! From Connor's many carols and his proclamation that he is indeed "Child Christmas" and will one day grow up to be Santa to Braden's love for Nutcrackers, Frosty and exclamations of "Just what I every wanted" upon opening every gift on Christmas morning they made it wonderful!
