My book is not complete yet-I still have to finish days 20-25 but here are some shots of some of my early December Daily pages. I really liked doing this project of Ali Edwards this year-it was a first for me and will absolutely become a holiday tradition!

This is one of my "pre" pages it's undated and happened prior to Dec 1st...it's a shot of the twins with the tree all decorated-the were so proud of their handiwork!
Another "pre" page (and I just inserted these into the front of my book) a picture of the twins seeing Santa at MacArthur Center.
Day 1-an envelope with a copy of our Christmas cards that went out on December 1st
Day 2-a picture & story of the boys experience shopping for each other
Day 3-the twins exchanged cards with their pals in their playgroup this year-here is a copy of their cards which they sent out on December 3rd

My little celebrities...

The twins Christmas picture (from 2007!) is featured in this week's edition of Woman's World Magazine Issue 1 dated Jan 4 2010 on stands now!
This is the second time the twins have had a photo featured-the first time was when they were 5 months old! If I can get Mike to get me their baby boxes (yes boxes we kind of grew out of books before we even brought them hone!) from the attic I will scan the old issue...

Crafty Kiddos

I picked up these cute wooden ornaments for a few cents a piece at A C Moore and let the boys go crazy with paint and sequins. Braden made a snowman and a snowflake...
While Connor painted Santa and a green (of course) ornament...
Playing off an ornament my aunt made me when I was a child I got alphabet blocks at Michael's and we outlined the letter in glue and went wild with our favorite colored glitter...
These are the ornaments they made (with Mommy's help) for family members of their school picture this year. I spray painted (because I had to do a million!) puzzle pieces green and we glued them in a circle around their pic and added some ribbon and "holly"...

Santa's Wonderland

We took the twins to Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro in Hampton today. I highly recommend if you have a Bass Pro in your area that you check it out this holiday season! There was the traditional photo op with Santa and many different games, crafts and activities for everyone to enjoy.

December Daily & Holiday Decorating...

'Tis the season!
My major undertaking this year is the December Daily scrapbook/journal project I stumbled across on Ali Edwards blog http://aliedwards.typepad.com/_a_/december-daily-2009-.html
I am really excited about this fun way to collect and preserve our holiday traditions and memories!
Here is a look at my cover...
And a peek at the pages inside!

The boys at age three (nearly four sniff, sniff...) are very excited about Christmas this year and their enthusiasm is highly contagious! Here are a few shots of my little cuties helping decorate for the holidays:
Testing the lights...they were all lit so..."Ta-Da!"
Posing in front of the decorated tree in their little Santa hats...
Outside with this years new inflatables
The house all lit up!
