Team Crimson

The boys in their first year playing soccer are playing for Chesapeake United Soccer Club in the U-4 Pee Wee Division on Team Crimson.
Team Crimson is the best...the best grass blade pullers, the best ball carries, and the best roll around on the ground and basically do anything but kick the ball players! Ha ha!
The kids are having fun though and at this age that is what's important and not to mention really cute and hilarious to watch!
Saturday is their first big "game" so we'll see how they fair against the other Pee Wee Teams!
Here are some shot's from their first practice, last Monday night...

First Day of School

Connor & Braden have had a wonderful first week of school! They both love going and love their teachers.
The first day Mike & I were lucky to get a "goodbye" when we dropped them off they were so excited to start! Braden did make sure though that he got to say goodbye to Connor & that Connor said goodbye to him before heading off to his own class!
When I went to pick them up Braden's class came out first and he ran and gave me a great big hug but then when Connor's class came out he raced me to get to hug his brother first! They were very excited to see each other.
We met Daddy and a couple of the guys from his squad for lunch at Wendy's (the boys pick!) to celebrate their first big day of school. They told everyone in the restaurant that would listen all about their day, from Connor's bear hunt to Braden's "Wheels on the Bus" project.
Their second day of school was much the same with barely a "see you" for Mommy! When we arrived in each of their classrooms they both ran to hug their teachers-I guess that means they like them! (Ha ha) They were happy to report that they had library time together which I thought was a nice treat for them! They seem to be adjusting well to having separate teachers-I think it's kind of fun for them. I'm so excited for them that they love going!
