From across the miles...

Blogger came recommended to me by one of my fellow police wives as a great tool to keep all of our family and friends spread out across the country informed on all of our latest adventures.
I checked out her blog and decided that this site would be a great companion to the Shutterfly site that I use to share tons of photos of the boys. It's nice to cut down on all the miles that separate us all and keep everyone up to date!
So here it goes....

Today Daddy told the boys he had a surprise trip planned for them-they were excited all morning but we didn't let them know where we were taking them.
The LOVE Chuck E. Cheese and ask to go there daily so we loaded them up and took them there for some play time and pizza!
You should have heard the two of them screaming in the truck once the building came into view and you could see Chuck E. Cheese's picture on the side-they were so excited.
They had a great time playing on all the rides and now they are getting into wanting to play the arcade games to win tickets. They dragged Daddy up into the tunnels that run across the ceiling and chased him around up in there for awhile-of course Mom got lots of shots from the ground!!

Connor has started to teach himself how to tie his shoes, as I was helping him he told me "take the bunny behind the tree and put him in the hole Mommy," I tell you the things he picks up! Nothing gets past him-he's smart as a whip!

Tonight they were sad as usual when Daddy had to "go get the bad guys" their definition of what Daddy does for a living but Braden has told Dad that he is going to be a policeman too when he gets bigger-he says Daddy is going to teach him how.

The tree has been up since Thanksgiving without any catastrophes-they do like to play with one ornament-it's a picture of Daddy in a Grinch frame-they come running with it and claim that it "fell" off of the tree-ha ha!
As I type I am enjoying a candy cane they swear leaped off of the tree right before bedtime!
