In my previous post My Own Monster(s) I raved about sei lifestyle My Own Monster iron-on kits. After the boys made their t-shirts they painted up a couple blocks of wood to make their own little monster mini-me's with some of their left overs:

"Lifted" ideas from around the web...
I found these adorable mummies on Inspiring Creations blog's post Terra Cotta Mummies Tutorial instead of using wiggly eyes I used up two pairs of spooky eyes left over from last years pumpkin carving kit!
I came across this super cute frame idea on eighteen25 blog's post Today's Project: Frightfully Fun Frames instead of painting wooden letters (they cheapest they had at Michael's were $2.99 a piece!) I cut these using my Cricut.
The picture really doesn't do these frames sparkle factor justice!

My Own Monster(s)
I fell in LOVE with these simple (PEEL PLACE PRESS-how can it be any easier?) iron-on monsters when I came across them on the sei lifestyle blog in this post My Own Monster
We immediately ordered up a "Cool Curt" and "Blobby Bobby" kit for the boys...
Here are their super cute creations!

The twins want to paint up a couple blocks of wood today and use up some of the extra pieces to make their own monster Halloween decoration look-a-likes!

The #9 & the #10 are brought to you by...
...one proud soccer mom! Saturday marked the start of our third soccer season! Things are a little different this go around. We joined a new (i.e: better organized) club and after one practice and one game under our belts were are very excited and happy about our move. We love our coach, we love having a HUGE team, we love actually learning the fundamentals of soccer and most of all the boys love their new team name the Rockets and their new jersey's that proudly sport numbers this season!

This summer...
...has been a whirl wind! From beach days and pools days (the only way to beat the super hot heat we lived through this summer) to Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, IllumiNights, bowling, 4th of July weekend, Toy Story 3, Kangaroo Jacs, Despicable Me, library story time, Shrek 4, Ocean Breeze Water Park, Marmaduk, Rudee Flipper dolphin watch cruise, vacationing friends, vacationing family, Great Wolf Lodge...the list goes on and on...I am feverishly working on putting together my Summer in the Life album documenting our packed summer of 2010.
It's hard to believe that in a few days it's back to school, the start of the fall soccer season and the new insanity added to the mix...karate classes!
It's sure to be a busy and fun fall for us all too!
The boys recently were photographed by Amanda of kimberlingrayphotography.com again-here are a few of their new pics (in their new favorite colors "corn" and "ketchup")...
